Construction at 1996-2000 and 2010-2016 Bathurst Street
Dear Resident,
I hope this letter finds you and your family well as we navigate these very challenging times. I am reaching out to invite you to a small community meeting to discuss the upcoming construction at two sites in your immediate vicinity: 1996-2000 Bathurst Street and 2010-2016 Bathurst Street.
The two sites will begin construction later this year, but I wanted to make sure that the community had an opportunity to review the construction staging and management plans, and see what mitigation measures are being implemented to minimize disruption to you. I have invited the builders/developers to prepare a brief presentation as to the scope of work, timelines, and mitigation measures, in conjunction with City staff from Transportation Services and City Planning. City staff will be able to discuss the previous planning approvals, what the City’s requirements and permissions regarding construction are, and any other City-directed questions. My goal is to ensure that you are kept up-to-date and are fully aware of any impacts that the construction may have on you, and for the builders to provide mitigation measures for any issues or concerns.
If you have any questions in the meantime or wish to receive any additional information about the two sites, please feel welcome to reach out to my office. In order to make sure that everyone has access to the information and discussion from the meeting, we will be recording the presentation and panel discussion which I will post on my website at www.joshmatlow.ca/bathurst-dewbourne. An important note for anyone who is attending and is concerned about privacy, the format will not show any of the attendees, only your voice will be recorded if you wish to ask a question or make a comment. If you are not comfortable with participating in this format, you are welcome to observe the meeting and contact my office directly.
