Toronto could have craft beer trucks servicing travelling beer gardens in city parks, depending on the outcome of a city staff report on the issue due this January. The program would be similar to the one which already exists in Philadelphia. Many city councillors are cautiously optimistic and have raised questions about who would be in charge of the program and where it would take place. Councillor Matlow said there might be concerns about serving alcohol in parks that had been previously dry, but that it was worth a look.
