Gil Peñalosa
Executive Director 8-80 Cities and internationally renowned liveable city advisor. As former Commissioner of Parks, Sports and Recreation in Bogota, Colombia, Gil was responsible for creating Bogotá’s Car Free Sunday Program, which today sees more than 1.3 million people run, walk, skate and dance along more than 120 kms of closed streets every Sunday.

Healthy liveable neighbourhoods are walking- and bicycling-friendly, with vibrant parks, trails and public spaces for all.
