Dear Residents,
Improving and expanding public transit with a realistic and fiscally-responsible plan is a priority for Toronto residents.
TTC Chair/Councillor Karen Stintz and I will be co-hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Toronto’s rapid transit plans. Panelists will include TTC staff and transit expert Professor Andre Sorensen of the University of Toronto.
When: Tuesday, February 28th, 7-9PM
Where: North Toronto Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Avenue West
I believe it is vital that Toronto residents are informed about the facts regarding recent plans to expand and improve Toronto’s rapid transit system and have an opportunity to have their questions answered. We will also have an opportunity to discuss future transit priorities including an extension of the Eglinton Crosstown to the airport and a Downtown Relief Subway line to alleviate congestion on the Yonge-University-Spadina line.

Sincerely,
Josh
